What data we process, why, for how long, and what rights you have.

01Controller
morumori is a studio of two people. Alexander Hvezdoň Štefko and Damián Kováč, both in Bratislava, run this site and answer the messages that arrive through it.
The two of us are therefore the controllers of your data. Anything about it can be asked at ahoj@morumori.com, and one of us answers.
02What we collect
The only place on this site that collects anything is the free-audit form. You fill in your website address, an email address and an optional note about what bothers you on the site.
The language of the page you filled the form on is sent along with them, so that the reply reaches you in Slovak or in English. There is no login, no profile and no checkout anywhere on the site.
03Purpose and legal basis
We need the website address to have something to audit, and the email address to have somewhere to send the audit. We read the note so that we look first at whatever you care about.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: steps taken prior to entering into a contract, at your own request. We run no newsletter, and we pass your contact details to nobody else and sell them to nobody.
04Retention
The form stores nothing in a database. The code that receives it turns your submission into two emails, one to us at ahoj@morumori.com and one to you as a confirmation, and its work ends there.
Your data therefore exists only as email in our mailbox, where it stays for as long as we are talking about your website. Write to us to have it deleted and we delete it and confirm that it is done.
05Processors
We cannot run a website and a mailbox entirely on our own, so three things are done for us by services that process your data along the way. We give it to nobody else.
Cloudflare: Hosts this site and the code that receives the form, and its Email Routing delivers mail sent to ahoj@morumori.com into our mailbox.
Cloudflare Turnstile: A bot check sits in front of the form. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser signals for it under its own policy, and tells us only whether the check passed.
Resend: Sends both emails that leave after the form is submitted, so your address and the text of your message pass through it.
06Cookies and analytics
This site stores nothing in your browser, neither a cookie nor an entry in local storage. That is why it has no bar asking you for consent.
We measure traffic with Umami, which we host ourselves at analytics.morumori.com. It uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses, so it cannot follow you to other websites. What we see from it is how many times each page was viewed and which buttons people click.
The one exception is the bot check on the form, where Cloudflare may store something of its own in your browser under its own policy.
07Your rights
Everything below takes one email to ahoj@morumori.com, and we answer within a month at the latest. If you write from the address you left in the form, we need nothing else from you.
Access: You can ask what we hold about you, and we send it to you.
Rectification: If any detail is wrong, we correct it on request.
Erasure: On request we delete the emails your data sits in, and write to tell you it is done.
Restriction: You can ask us to do nothing with your data for the time being.
Objection: You can object to the processing, and we stop unless we have an overriding reason to continue.
Portability: We send the data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
Complaint: If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. For Slovakia that is the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky.
