What we do for you

First we work out what your site is costing you. Then we either repair it or build a new one.

02What we build

A website has more layers than its design.

The parts every project is assembled from. What each price includes is on the pricing page.

01

The site

What your client actually sees.

  • A site with fixed contentFive to twelve pages that open instantly, because nothing is being recalculated on every visit.
  • A site that changesNews, price lists, opening hours or open roles. Content that moves without a developer in the loop.
  • A second languageTwo full versions, each with its own addresses. Google can find either one on its own.
  • Design for your brandColour, type and layout drawn for you. You see them before we write the first line of code.

02

Content

The part you edit yourself.

  • A content systemLog in, rewrite the text, swap the photo. No call to us and no invoice for two sentences.
  • Moving the old site acrossCopy and pages carried over with redirects, so old links and search positions survive the move.
  • Copy written for youIf you have nothing to send, we write it and hand it to you for approval before launch.
  • A blog and newsA place to post your own updates, on the days you have something to say.

03

Getting in touch

How someone reaches you.

  • FormsThe message reaches your inbox within seconds. We test it on the live domain before launch.
  • Booking and calendarClients pick a slot you genuinely have free. The calendar closes it immediately, so nobody books it twice.
  • Automatic emailConfirmation of a booking or an enquiry goes out on its own, while you are with a client.
  • Spam handled quietlyFiltering in the background. No pictures of bicycles to put off a real enquiry.

04

Being found

So the person looking for you arrives.

  • SEO groundworkHeadings, descriptions and a structure Google reads correctly. We register the site in Search Console and hand you the access.
  • Google profile and mapsYour address, hours and photos in the place people check first.
  • Structured dataThe markup that gets you more than a blue link on the results page.
  • Speed as part of SEOPageSpeed of at least 95 on mobile. You can verify the number yourself, with Google, for free.

05

Keeping it running

What happens while you think about other things.

  • The domain on your accountRegistered in your name. If we part ways, it is yours and it leaves with you.
  • Hosting and certificateThe site runs over an encrypted connection. Hosting sits inside the care plan and never arrives as its own invoice.
  • Backups and monitoringA daily backup, and an alert if the site goes down. Usually we find out before you do.
  • Analytics without cookiesYou see how many people came and where from. No cookie banner, because no personal data is collected.

03Where we stop

What we don't do.

A shorter list than the one above and just as useful. Better to know now than at the third meeting.

If you need any of it, say so at the audit. We will point you at someone we call ourselves.

01A full online shop
Stock, orders and returns are a different kind of system, and above all a different kind of on-call than we can hold while at school. A few products or gift vouchers through a ready-made payment gateway we will wire up.
02WordPress
We do not build in it and we do not take over sites running on it. We can replace one; we will not maintain it.
03Advertising and social media
We build the site a campaign points at. The campaign itself belongs to someone who does it every day.
04Photography and legal copy
We will recommend a photographer. Your terms need a lawyer's signature, and we are not going to fake them.
